Sensible twisty socks

Kia Ora! (That’s “Hi!” in Maori)

Another finished item that I should blog about: the sensible twisty socks! They’ve been finished for a little while now and have been waiting to be packed and sent away to their new owner. They are a birthday gift you see, and the lucky birthday person is in New Zealand (hence the Kia Ora – I should have called the socks Kia Ora, shouldn’t I?!)
The Sensible Twisty socks which could have been name Kia Ora
Twisty socks
Pattern: Knitty Twist Socks (Ravelry Link)
Project (on Ravelry): Sensible Twisty Socks
Yarn: Juno Fibre Arts sock yarn in “Faded jeans”. I used about 350metres.
Modifications: After a while, I dropped the yarn forward / yarn in the back of the right slanted twists because it wasn’t making any visible differences. But otherwise knitted just as the pattern was written.

They are pretty socks and I like that they look so comfy and interesting at the same time. I hope the recipient will like them too!
