Little Man Socks

Long time no post! I have been so busy working on different projects that I haven’t taken the time to write about them until now.

I’m going to start talking about my latest and smallest project first, and I’ll keep the other 2 finished projects for the coming few days.

The Little Man Socks

I had this leftover yarn (Juno Fibre arts sock yarn, that I bought at Knit Nation) and it was such a nice blue that I had to make something with it. Fall and Winter are coming fast, so I thought it would be perfect for a little pair of socks for Lucas.

So I quickly cast-on and a couple of days later, here they are, the Little Man Socks. They include my favourite things: Turkish cast-on, short-row heel and twisted 1×1 rib. Oh and twisted stitches in the main rib pattern.

I was so pleased with them that I even wrote a pattern for it! The launch of the pattern wasn’t without hiccups (the link to the pdf was wrong and my toe increases were erm… wrong too), but I think it’s ok now. I’m quite surprised that it’s got a few lovers over on Ravelry already. People have queued them and some have even started them!! I am gobsmacked!

You can find the pattern on Ravelry here, or you can download it directly here. Oh, and the pattern is free, too! :)

Now that my first pattern is out there, I’ve got plenty of ideas that I want to work on and maybe write the pattern for too.
