Halfway point

And a little bit more!
I’m making good progress on my quilt top for the QAL over on Ravelry with the UK Quilters. I’m doing almost a block per day at the moment, so it’s quite good. I also do some stupid mistakes like sewing the wrong sides of the strips together… I let one go on the orange block as it was not too much of an issue, but when I did the same mistake with the green one, I had to rip my sewing and sew the other sides because there was no way it was going to look ok.

Sneaky view of my progress
Halfway point - UK Quilters QAL
It’s looking very good and I’m enjoying it. The long strips are not too dreadful to sew together, less than what I expected. First, I started by drawing the lines for the seam allowances, but it was slowing me too much (I couldn’t work on it when my son was napping), so I decided to eye-ball it and so far so good! It’s not like a millimetre or 2 is going to cause the world to crumble down.
